The word of the week is ~affordability~ but what does MAGA know about that?
When asked about affordability:
Day 42: Rep. Troy Nehls (TX-22) said,
“Affordability? What are you talking about?”
“Maybe the 60% of Americans [who are living paycheck to paycheck] don’t work as hard as I do.”
Day 43: Donald Trump said,
The bipartisan affordable housing bill was “a big yawn” and “so unimportant”
“I don’t want to drive housing prices down, I wanna drive housing prices up.”
Day 45: Randy Fine (FL-53) said,
“The enthusiasm with which Democrats had for this [affordable housing] bill had me spooked.”
“I didn’t come to Washington to work with Democrats, I came to beat them.”
Luckily, the affordable housing bill will become law tonight anyway- no thanks to them…
